Per a PC professor, all night classes at PC will be remote, at least until well into the first semester. I'd be surprised if basketball will be played until at least January. I just canceled my Maui Jim Invitational trip. Sad. Was scheduled to fly out on the team charter. It hasn't been cancelled yet but I expect that it will be. Sucks for the players.
But my health takes precedent.

The cleaning staff need the evening hours to deep clean the academic space. Moving evening classes to on line makes sense for this reason

a-10 just dumped out of fall sports. Saying they could be done in spring-maybe? I'm thinking the BE,B10,ACC partial schedules are less serious than they appear but who knows at this point. Sorry for a few friends at UNH: unhwildcats.com/news/2020/7/17/FallSportsPPD.aspx

In RI my grandson took the test Monday July 6th and finally got results the evening of July 15th...negative. How many good kids are out there that would basically quarantine while waiting for results like he did? CVS saved the day here with testing as we were floundering. Private labs trying to keep up is a problem.

Hoping R.I’s infection rate is low...here in NY we are at 1%.

So they let ND off the hook and are basically operating as usual with the exception of nonconf games. Much more aggressive than I would have guessed.

I agree...basically a full schedule...will see if it holds up...RI's infection rate was low today at 1.8% ...NY's at ~1%.

"Here's the information I got almost an hour ago,"Dan Patrick said. "The Big Ten and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow. The ACC and the Big 12 are on the fence. The SEC is trying to get a delay to have teams join them."
The source told Patrick: "Three Big Ten teams that I've spoken with said it's done." The source said the SEC is "trying to buy time" to see if schools from the ACC or Big 12 will join them in pursuit of playing this fall."
