'82,
I've been out hiking, sometimes on parts of the Long Path and Appalachian Trail wearing the mask when passing others on the trails. Most difficult to breathe with them on. Grocery shopping, etc, mask wearing is a must.
It is a civic duty to protect ones fellow citizens when in public and wise to err on the side of caution to protect oneself and family.

Well said Daddy-O....it is amazing how many folks, mostly not seniors, disdain the mask when passing other walkers these days. I hate the friggin things but with the pool closed, I walk daily and wear it and cover up when encountering another human being no matter how F'N ignorant they happen to be. What would these younger folks do when, like my parents, faced food shortages, energy rationing and other sacrifices for four years in WW2? The will find out if they continue down the path of the Venezuelan Model with the anarchists rampaging these days. Our education system has failed miserably. I read some of the crap posted on Twitter by PC professors and it makes me want to puke.

Dan Wetzel @danwetzel · 9m The Ivy League is cancelling all fall sports. Winter sports (including hockey and basketball) won't begin until after Jan. 1 which could cause some widespread issues.
Reschedule the Brown Bb game (or not)?

Rick P is never one to reserve comment. He says start in January, league games only. I don't like it. Nothing to say Jan will be any different than Nov.

Well philly just banned large gatherings (50+) through feb and I believe it includes eagles games. Chances of a college hoops season (or any winter sports) is slim to none. Certainly none if they can't pull off the outdoor fall sports. And good luck figuring out how they're going to pull off this NBA season.

Our testing system makes it almost impossible to do anything right now. Amazing that this is where we are.

Drairf was a bit sick last week so got tested. Results were negative but took 7 days to receive them. No bueno. Not only the length of time it takes for results, but more importantly the results are about 60-70% accurate. Where I work, they did antibody testing with a finger prick, if you came up positive you were sent for more detailed blood work.. The false positive rate was in the 90%. ....gotta love friartown...
