Who would have thought. DePaul left carrying the BE Standard - albeit in the JV Tournament (had to say that for Dex's sake). I'd bet that the DePaul program is pleased believing that this experience provides them with something to build upon.
I caught the final minutes of Wichita State's win over Indiana last night. Gregg Marshall looked like a kid, dancing around with his players in the locker room following the victory, which sends them to the NIT's - Final Four at MSG.

WSU, the team that everyone said Friars should have beat way back when, the team that ended up regular season with around the same record as PC....you just never know...

Gregg Marshall deserves credit for scrambling to acquiring some experienced players and then getting them to the Final 4.
I remember when Cooley's teams used to get better like way back in 2017/2018.

I believe the question was about Marshall. 13-3 since Feb 1st.

Every year Marshall's name, kinda similar to Pete Gillen, surfaces for jobs but he has stayed. Wonder what would happen if Bill Self leaves Kansas with the talk of NCAA issues. Might be the job he would take.

Yes Walk is correct that the question was about Marshall...but Daddy-O's comment does have some relevancy bec Marshall sure does get to the ncaa a lot and his stupid fans expect it every single year.
Meanwhile Walk, no comment on my remark about Cooley teams usually getting better? "I remember when Cooley's teams used to get better like way back in 2017/2018."
Don't you agree? Come on man....surely you can gag up an Amen for Big Ed about when he used to know how to coach back in 2017/18.
Afterall you were the one who First granted him a magnanimous dispensation with a Mulligan if things didn't work out in his down year.
We all know that this was not Cooley's shining moment....but it doesn't wipe out previous accomplishments, right?
And we all know that the lousy horrible last recruiting class by Simon contributed to our woes as you have pointed out many times.
So Simon gets a pass from you yesterday and all you have for Cooley is your sarcastic remark about Wichita but aimed at Cooley:
"the team that got better during the year.."
Hey just looking for some consistency to at at least keep the beat-down somewhat fair. I get the What have you done for me lately stuff and I'm disappointed too but let's not all get amnesia.

sure dex...you got me. every comment about Greg Marshall is a shot a cooley. Every comment about Simon is a shot at cooley. How many classes are we blaming him for?
Thank god Ivan Thomas closed on Ben Bentil. And not only is he a magnificent recruiter, he can break down film like no other. If I only knew who we was.
So I looked - since Feb 1st - to be fair several losses are to Nova who's been one of the top 10 teams in the country for most of that period.
2014-15 6-6 2015-16 6-7 2016-17 6-4 2017-18 7-6

And 18-19?
Very pedestrian numbers for Cooley and staff.

Hey Walk if you take a breath and count to ten before hysterical hyperbolic posting you might be right more often.
Fortunately I'm here to help you and a lot more is coming.

Oops...for the record I have no idea whether Ivan is a plus or a minus. I DON'T KNOW
Accordingly no praise and no assassination with the snide remarks.
I'm sure Cooley will terminate him if he's a load. None of us want a non-contributor on the Staff.
Perhaps you can share what you have on him? Let's send him packing.
