Villanova getting destroyed by Purdue. 56-24 with 16 minutes left. Just a terrible year for the Big East

Which makes our season even more frustrating, because the whole league stunk.

Watching Purdue and Auburn splashing 3's all over the court. It's the new game. Hope we find some shooters and jump on board.

..and you need size when you get out of the BE...nova got away with it last year bc spellman was great facing the basket and pascal can cover rebounding warts but legit size is needed. Dickens may turn into garbage but legit 7 foot size needs to stay on campus.

And you need penetrating guards who can take it to the hole and score it, or kick it to the wide open shooter. We don't have one on the roster currently.

Villanova’s reign will be in serious jeopardy next year. I know they have a big recruiting class coming, but there’s not much coming back from this roster. Seton Hall returns everyone but Nzei and Marquette brings back everyone important unless Howard goes pro. Those two could easily be the pre season favorites. Georgetown loses Govan, but brings back a solid young nucleus and outside of St. John’s, most other teams return their core players as well.
I know it’s still early and transfers have yet to be finalized, but next year is shaping up to be wide open.

They probably figured Spellman would be back. I would think they will get a add a true 5 for next year.

Seton Hall adds Obiagu next year. Kid should lead the BE in blocks by a large margin.

As it stands now, I expect the Friars to be a pre-season bottom 3 pick.
