PROVIDENCE- Lexi Sells has had her heart set on playing college basketball at Providence College ever since attending a camp there as a seventh grader, the Friar summer session being under the direction of Phil Seymore.
For that reason, Sells anxiously awaits word of a new Friar coach - a new beginning as a student-athlete with a new coach in her first season. "When you play Division I basketball, you deal with your coach every single day - offseason workouts, what they expect of you.
"You want to have a good relationship with your coach. Like the rest of the girls there (at PC) and the ones coming in, everyone will be looking forward to a new season under a new coach. That's the way life works - I'm still excited to go there, to be a Friar."
