I found this tidbit very interesting. I'm willing to bet there has never been a program with 3 top 20 scorers on the same team at same time(never mind in same class). IMHO it really shows that this Hall team is really underachieving. When u add Powell to the mix(another talented scorer)this should be one of top offensive teams in nation. Willard has 3 guys on team who've combined for almost 5,000 points and he might end up in NIT. Not a good coaching job.
Trio of Veteran Scorers
Between Rodriguez, Carrington and Delgado, the Pirates have an incredible trio of experienced scorers - the three have a combined 4,791 career points.
All three are Top-20 all-time scorers in the history of the program, with Carrington leading the trio (10th), followed by Rodriguez (15th) and Delgado (20th).
No other class in program history has more than one player on the Top-20 all-time scoring list
Each also has significant experience scoring in double-figures:
Delgado - 84 times
Carrington - 81 times
Rodriguez - 77 times

Case in point Ernie, Barnes, and Hassett I think all 3 are top 20 on Friars scoring list. Hassett might be on cusp. But that team played in FF

OR you could say Willard is incredible with player development. Carrington and Rodriguez were both 3 star recruits with espn rankings in the 70s.

All three SH guys also played a ton of minutes as freshman because they joined a crappy team.
Same reason guys like Sharaud Curry, Efejuku and McDermott are high on our lists.
