Perhaps it had to do with the possibility that Butler wasn't keying on them when they were in the game (?). That's where I put some of this "effort" on a lack of adjustments by our staff. I don't get paid to coach basketball, but could see that Butler was denying our ability to drive today. Standing around the arc like we were during the second half, we made it easy for Butler to guard us, and had no one in position to rebound as we chucked up miss after miss. At some point, I posted that it felt like "Ground Hog Day", as I had seen this movie before. "Those who don't learn from history are bound to repeat it!" |
