If PC only beats gtown and st johns rpi is 39 and sos is 16 heading into NYC...
what am I missing? This team is in great shape...
News Flash: the team is flat out horrible when Cartwright is nowhere close to 100%..umass, houston, depaul and URI (sorry but i was there and he was nowhere near 100%)...when he is at 90% or above they are lock city.

I had 42 with 19-12...don't remember how the SOS shaped up but it was around 20....and a first round BET L would drop us to the mid 40s.

I don't want Edwards or White in the game at crunch time having to shoot FT's.. White, as he gains his confidence back, will offer and provide more than Edwards. I would not discount White based on 6 minutes of no "freak ups" by Edwards.. Dex knows all.. ....gotta love friartown... To be honest Cartwright scares the hell out of me at the line in final 5 minutes. IDK what it is but it seems like he goes from 80% to 50% in final 5 minutes(not just Nova game)

To those who suggest fatigue, I would add this to their evidence locker. Back to the White/Edwards and may I add MAL discussion. It is clear to me that neither White nor MAL can handle the pressure of the last 5 minutes, but that Edwards can. He has the BB IQ and the grit. It's just a shame that's a lid on the basket every time he shoots the ball.

Man, how things would be different if his freshman year had materialized. As for White vs Edwards: one has a higher upside and that always allows for a bit more tolerance for "phu-up moments". I guess. Funniest part of this thread was mocking White's shot selection as a "heat-check", such heat not yet having arrived to check, of course. Classic. Love it.

someone in the "he'll be fine" camp compared his first year to Jalen Brunson's and how Brunson was brought along slowly with arch running the point. Cooley's had dreams (probably wet ones) of playing mal and kc for extended minutes this year. if he was putting up Brunson frosh year numbers, we'd have 3 more Ws.
Missing FTs from being gassed or not, it will catch us. KC ain't going to be playing less.

I did recheck the numbers, and Kyron was at 84% from the free throw line in the final five minutes of regulation or overtime going into the Villanova game. That game dropped his percentage in such situations to 76%

84%... 76% and puking on the side lines....
Keep playing KC!
...and don't worry about the naysayers.... You got brass and display it every game, whether ther's a lid on that rim or not.
And remember all you academic all- American athletes..... "C's get Degrees"....
