Well fazekas was coming regardless....and we don't get cartwright without andre... What else Andre bring to the table?? His big butt, assuming there was an open seat and some food to be eaten on that table

I would have gladly lived my life without KC if Andre was only let go sooner. Plus Fr Shanley wouldn't have wasted a million plus for that load.

Most things that I've read (including opinions on this Board), has left me with the sense that Andre didn't accomplish much while here. Seems that he had his own perception of the value which he brought to PC...
I sense that Andre may have felt that he brought a certain cache (UConn National Championships & purported development of UConn's backcourt through the years) to our program. In doing so, Ed had the opportunity to leverage him as "eye candy" that would lure recruits to Smith Hill. Only problem was, Ed and the other Assistants had to hit the road and bring the prospects to Andre. And once they were on campus, it was Sham (not Andre) who was focused on developing the players.

I gotta be honest I always sensed a lack of passion/interest from Andre while he was here.

I feel like at least a few of Cooley's "busts" have been in response to players leaving unexpectedly, forcing Cooley to roll the dice on question marks.
