I saw this thread over in the burbs..
Thought it was a good idea
If you could create your own starting 5 out of all Big East players, what would your squad look like?
Poster over there actually left Brunson off 1st and 2nd team!!! wow!!
if I had to play a game tonight my 5 would be
PG:Brunson SG:Foster SF: Bluiett PF: Bridges C: Delgado
Diallo has been one of the top players in the league since conference games began. He's quietly averaging 15 & 7 shooting 46% from the floor and has 24 assists to only 14 turnovers.(in league games)
but giving him the nod over Bridges or Bluiett at this point would be blinded homerism but if and when Alpha adds that 3 ball to his game he could be better than both

Mikal Bridges may have more upside than any player I have seen in big East this year.
Defensively, his long arms and his height are disruptive and his quickness allows him to defend guards and forwards.
The slam dunk that walk highlighted in another thread against SHU yesterday was a sight to behold. He knocks down shots too. Exciting player to watch.

Villanova players know where to go whether innately or through coaching or from practice as a team and playing through the battles.
If Alpha could shoot like Big Red he'll raise the level of his game. Big Red always around the boards for missed tip ins.
Nova even "got" Paschal as a transfer who would start over ? ? ? Lindsey? Rodney? I know, shocking information for you walk and themick
