We saw Virginia finally win at Duke Don’t dismiss Kentucky yet Alabama and Auburn playing well Maryland plays well at times St Johns may have to re-consider their overall performance of Head Coach Mullins- not just his recruiting. We may have 8 -10 Teams looking to be solid for a run deep in March And URI got its shot in more ways than one
Stay tuned for many exciting college basketball games

Johnnies only got 45 pts at Hinkle
Bulldogs like to score but Johnnies failure to score against their defense sending shockwaves thru Queens
still zero big East wins this year

Hated the hiring of Mullin and Ewing by SJU and GT. The epitome of a Hail Mary pass, no shot it works. If it did, the top-25 would be littered by star alum who had never coached at the college level before - and it isn't. Top-college coaches are CEO-types and NBA star athletes tend to be the opposite of that, frankly.

I’m not ready to give up on Ewing yet. He has a terrible team and at least spent years coaching in the NBA. Mullin just seems uninterested.

I also think it’s unfair to lump Ewing in with Mullin. Ewing spent 15 years as an NBA assistant and more than served his dues before getting this job. He is not just a figurehead brought in to drum up interest in a sagging program, he’s a legitimate head coach with excellent credentials.
I think he is getting a lot out of this team and seems to have earned the respect of his players. This may be anecdotal, but could anyone ever envision Mullin challenging one of his best players the way Ewing did with Derrickson in that viral clip? I watched some of the Creighton game last night and Georgetown really pushed them for all 40 minutes. I’d be surprised if they’re not a consistent tourney team provided he recruits adequately.
