first non-PC sellout in a long time vs a solid Duquense team
fans are excited that the team is ranked
they are down 6 at half
would be a killer if they dont pull this out

Eric Wiliams Jr (son of former PC star) is leading A-10 in rebounding and one of the top 2 players for the Dukes
averaging 15 & 9, surprised there was no interest from Ed or staff

A tale of two different halfs. Rhody down by 15 fight their way back with some tough defense. Hurley keeps this up and some major programs will come calling.

URI drew a sellout of 7,432...for friggin Duquesne
While the Janitor Stanford Robinson hit the 3 ball to win it, he only had 7 pts and basically stunk like Terrell today. EC took them home on offense and Fats and Jarvis Garrett on Defense.
Bill Reynolds column today opines don't be surprised if uconn comes calling aggressively for Danny after this season

Also they used to give out 1,000 free tics to students. Not sure if that is still the process.

They are RI State Champions and the new Darlings of college basketball. They know they can beat Nova on a neutral court even.

Their fans have been hoping to be ranked, and are really excited about being ranked. A loss would certainly have been a "killer" simply for that reason, after only one week in the rankings.

Totally agree Nutty re PG Garrett. Smart and gritty defensively and that makes up for whatever short-comings offensively.
His long injury last year gave Downtin a chance to make his bones for the Rams last year. It remains to be seen but Fats might be of the same mold as Garrett with more offense.
