Coleman played 4 years... 16 game schedule... 64 games. Delgado is on Year 4... 18 game schedule 62 games played so far. Record will be broken in game 63.

Coleman played 4 years... 16 game schedule... 64 games. Delgado is on Year 4... 18 game schedule 62 games played so far. Record will be broken in game 63. Games played is only a piece of the comparative puzzle. More shot attempts now and lower FG% totals due to shot clock change and the 3-point madness. DC and Michal Smith were both better rebounders than Delgado IMO.

Is that assumed or a fact. Smith was unreal but we had to be the worst shooting team in the be for his 3 years.

Tell you this Delgado is bigger than Smith. Taller, wider, bigger hands etc
Coleman was the biggest out of the three
Smith at 6'6 was the smallest out of the three but was still arguably the best rebounder

Having never seen Marvin play at PC, Michael Smith was the best rebounder I have ever seen wear the Black and White. I will never forget being at the Providence Civic Center when he pulled down his 26th board in the upset win against Syracuse. Ray Bagley announced " with that last rebound Michael Smith has broken the Big East record for most rebounds in a Big East game." www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2013/01/providences_michael_smith_cras.html

Dude could rebound...
Not to take anything away from that incredible performance, but how does a big man go 5-17 from the floor?
To Walk's point, the whole team couldn't shoot during his three years, none more so than Smith, unfortunately.
