Looking good IMO we will need a big game from him at Nova if we leave there with a W. He's about to blow up, next Friar star.

Alpha is Friars best all around player right now. KC And He are the two keys to Friar success this season.

As Cooley said, everyone played well today but Alpha became a man IMO today. I was pleased that despite the utter incompetence of the top ref team of the conference today (laughable) Alpha didn't bother with the bastages and that is a good thing.
Thankfully KC got going after a slow start and was terrific.
Unsung Hero again was Jalen Lindsey...did it all and played the whole game or close to it
To me this was the game we just had to have to stay in the hunt bec Creighton is good and we were home. Now there is a path to the Dance.
12,927 at The Dunk another sellout
Only downer for me today was that the PA system was so F*$^%#ing loud and Harry was so friggin obnoxious And loud. Someone in the AD's office needs to tell that bastage that he has a dam microphone so he doesn't have to yell into it to be heard.

Yeah he's extremely annoying, they've had that volume to loud for years.
I prefer a more relaxing environment during timeouts. Right now it feels like a LOUD commercial you can't escape. It's like being at home and the volume doubles when they cut to a commercial only you can't lower it.
Thought Harry retired but I guess the rap game didn't pan out..

One of the nice things about Alpha and Kyron and to a lesser extent Jackson is that we finally have people that can create their own offense. Cooley worked the matchups against Creighton and when they isolate those guys, they were able to score. Too many times in the past we were relegated to spot up shooters with one guy able to create (i.e., Dunn, Cotton, etc.). I think that bodes well going forward especially against teams that utilize a traditional lineup with a center that can't guard on the perimeter.

Jackson right now is giving us quality depth. Hopefully when Maliek gets back in the swing he will do the same. Still have to find a way that MAL and Drew start to give us good minutes. Going to need more than 7 guys going down the stretch.

It's going to take an injury to Cartwright before we see Edwards or MAL get a chance to prove themselves in meaningful second minutes. Maybe if we're getting drilled at nova they get some time.

Edwards and MAL combined for (5) min of playing time vs Creighton. I could see that as the norm from here on out.

But Kyron was pretty winded late in the game. EC even had Alpha bring the ball up a couple of times to get him a quick breather. It was Jackson's 2nd foul mid-point of the 1st half that got Edwards and then White into the game to get them to the half. The problem will be the game Kyron gets into foul trouble and is forced to sit. Not much mention of it but Young had 8 points--5 rebounds in only 12 minutes. He even had a couple of face up jumpers.

Great post and spot on, but please don't forget Mr.Bullock. Yes it looks like we have 4 players that can create their own offense and that DEFINITELY bodes well!!

Bullock can create when posting up...facing the basket and putting the ball on the floor is a disaster.

Bullock can create when posting up...facing the basket and putting the ball on the floor is a disaster. I disagree, he's improved and getting to his spots this year. He's been very good getting his defender off balance with good pump fakes and finshing with strong drives to the basket. Next game if u like walk i can keep track of when he puts ball on floor. Heck if u really want i will go into my dvr for all our league wins(losses get deleted) and compile his conversion rate......it's raining in RI
