Yes...play well down the stretch get to 11... Win Thursday at MSG....lose to nova which bumps our rpi and SOS...7 seed. Would love to see Clemson in round 2 but don't think they can get to the 2 line.

I just don’t see the way to 11 wins so ,if that’s the standard , that most now agree with, then I say No
Cripes we look so bad at times. You posted how young Marquette really is this year. Road or no road we should have beat them like a drum. But we have no inside stud, uneven shooting from field and ft line, no go to guy, and really no impact from the bench Jax plays starterminutes usually so he doesn’t count.
To me the eye test is Cooley’s face when we are making boneheaded plays and shooting like frosh instead of upperclassmen.

#1 in defense and most defensive stats in conf play...plus shooting FTs at almost 75 % which was my number. I think the crowd gets us shu or nova and we have enough on the roster to get 4 more.

yes, in conf stats from the BE website.
Diallo's playing great and at some point the seniors are going to step up.
...and the crowd will get us one...

While I think our best lineup is Rodney at the 5 with Jackson, Lindsey, Diallo and Cartwright, I realize that it puts Rodney in foul trouble. I give Rodney credit he really isn't even a natural 4 and he is asked to sometimes play the center. Young should have provided more this season. He has had some flashes, but nothing consistent. Maybe the light goes off, if not this year, next.

unfortunately yank, I think we are maxed out with everyone for this year. A 8pt/7 rebound game from a young will be followed by 9 minutes and five fouls. They'll tease us but we are who we are....Christ, even cooley doesn't have a consistent rotation yet. Our hope from my seat is Alph and pick your sernior on a given night who realizes the career ain't going to last forever. Maybe we get a little more out of white...big maybe.
..and our coach needs to figure out the end of game free throw team. I was serious about more Edwards the other day.

I understand your thinking, but % are somewhat misleading late in a game. Watson, White, MAL and Edwards have taken very few FT in BE play. White may be the only one to take any meaningful ones late in a BE game. Edwards was really good in OC play but late game BE is different even for the regulars. I think I want Cartwright and any of Bullock-Jackson-Lindsey-Diallo next since to me they are all the same at this stage. Hide the 5th guy on the floor if one is out there due to fouls. Just one example I saw recently. I watched Kentucky at Vandy a few weeks ago and the Vandy senior PG, a career 85% FT shooter got fouled on a 3 late in the game and missed all 3 FT. Vandy lost the game. Last week another close game at Kentucky and the same kid goes to the line late for a 1-1. Misses front end and Vandy loses again.

Well none on that list not named Cartwright seemed thrilled about getting the ball at Marq.....and not only did white miss, he wanted zero part of it. I recall drew making some previously. To clarify, the isn't for anything other than getting fouled when Cartwrights getting doubled and jalen wants to sit at half court ( I have been watching),
