You think we are looking at MAL's junior year? Feel like Duke and Reeves might need a year before becoming tourney caliber players.

>>>Forgot about Holt coming back.>>>
Wow, while I wouldn't predict that Holt isn't coming back, I do have to confess that the thought has crossed my mind. This was no ordinary injury/sickness...had to have been something pretty serious. I think that it's no lock that we'll ever see Holt in Black and White again.

Plenty of minutes available for the Frosh next year. Diallo at the 3, Holt at 4/5, rest is wide open.

Walk so HOLT makes us a LOCK next year?
You and pc71 must be doing the same Loco Weed
We should change the kid's name to Lebron Holt...I had no idea he was an All American in waiting
Art Linkletter used to say on his tv show that 'kids say the darndest things"
but you people are grown male specimens ... it's really pitiful to read some of these wild-eyed off the wall prognostications
Oh well...whatever gets you thru this mess I guess
Carry on

If Holt is back and the remaining core group comes back, we'll be better next year. Not sure if that translates to the NCAAs. The same problems will still exist in terms of an inability to consistently defend and rebound. The key playesr in this program are MAL and Diallo. For this program to be good, Diallo has to be a top 10 BE player and MAL has to be a top 3 BE PG. Without that, we won't be much a threat. But if Diallo's a top player, you put him, Holt, and a far more athletic group of guards on the floor, and there is a solid foundation. The problem with this team is that the Cartwright/Diallo foundation blew up and we're left with the limited guys. That can't happen at PC.

Oh I would think that he would have liked to do just that Walk....assuming KC began his broadcasting career early, which BTW, would be fine with ME
Do you hear me Walk?
Merry Christmas "johnny" you are a great Friar fan
...meanwhile BC Joe and friarman are with me last night yelling to Thumper who is 2 rows in front but way to our left...suffice to say he must have left his hearing aids in the car

If Holt doesn't come back, or if he isn't at least the player he was last year, we are in trouble. With exception of Ryan Gomes and Henton, we never seem to get guys who are ready to play Big East basketball the 1st time they step on the court.

Sometimes you have to take a few steps back to move forward. Right now our team is what it is. Take a step back, watch the team develop and enjoy the ride.. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Boy have I mellowed out.

Boy have I mellowed out. I agree. I think White and Diallo seemed to have taken a solid step forward. But Young so far has not. But White and Diallo were top 125ish and Young was 400ish. We have to hope watson takes a big leap becuase he is in a position we have limited reorces next year.

Negative...when young signed he was reported to be top 100 but he played in canada so his ranking was suspect...allegedly.
As bad as he's been, it still sits with the seniors imo...
