Thump, snide? sarcasm?
Much like you are entitled to an opinion, I have my opinion.
60% is a hit to any program when playing meaningful competition, not your so-called patsies on your schedule. The injuries should have no effect on Bullock, Jax and Lindsey's sense of urgency and overall empty headed play.
....gotta love friartown...

With all the injuries there should be a sense of urgency and extra effort given by the healthy players especially the seniors. Injuries certainly don't excuse Bullock, Lindsey or anyone else from not hustling and getting after it. The games against brown, stony brook, etc should not have been that close even with injuries.

Bullock and Lindsey are players with limited skill sets as we all know . Take other players out of the equation and they are exposed. Both are good at a few things but neither are stars. Funny how they get criticized roundly then all of a sudden they can carry the team. Lindsey is a jump shooter who can rebound some but can't create his own shot. Bullock can score in streaks but is not a big time defender. Neither has ever had to run the show which, IMO, is the problem right now.

Totall agree Conn...one has to have a lot of ill will toward Cooley and our Program to constantly expect miracles without the manpower being available. Perhaps it's a mis-understanding with the tix office...that's always a good one or perhaps it's just being a friggin sourpuss...in any event in the words of the immortal Bonco: SCREW !!You don't think we should have had the man power to put Brown away without a huge problem? They were picked last in Ivy by many publications. Tonight is a different story. I would expect a loss with the injuries. I have nothing but good will toward Cooley and the rebuilding job he has done.

Hey Dr Draif...Just got back from Mohegan and I'm out of words and money.
My advice to you is to read Bostobfriar's post of 8 hours ago.
On occasion like tonight Rodney is an above average player....the rest of those guys you expect to crush Brown are very ordinary ie Lindsey and KC
Again...read BostonFriar accept what he says and avoid the frustration of expecting ordinary kids to do extraordinary things
I would advise Cooley to do the same...if and when Alpha and Maliek return to 100% we will compete better.
Meanwhile I was disappointed that Alpha was sent out there on one leg.

It's a sense of freedom I haven't felt since 2011 when Keno allowed me to watch games without raising the blood pressure.

With bad weather (ice) possible for Friday, attendance could be very low on Friday night.

Doc I am so proud of you today. You have become liberated from this Crown Of Thorns 2017/2018 edition of our Friars.
Now that you have sobered your expectations you will be rejoicing with each and every upset our boys craft when healthy.
Someday we will look back at these difficult times, and as my pal Walk has stated, be glad that we gave our frosh and sophomores valuable experience.
...and to you our Great Head Coach Cooley, pls just coach these kids up to what we want for next season and beyond I implore you to try to emulate Draif and by all means adhere to our call to develop the youngsters for the future

I posted it in another thread, Edwards was the best running the point last night. MAL was brutally bad with his shot selection.
The body language of MAL, coupled with his often reckless play, makes him a hard guy for me to root for personally at this time. Like Dwain Williams, without the ability to shoot a lick.
Is this team a likeable team from a fans perspective?
I love Holt (and he's not playing) and Cartwright....after that...

From my viewing spot I also saw the three above mentioned instances at Mohegan Sun during the time outs last night
Unsettledness and restless
Cooley did exactly those things and loud he was
He needs to calm down was the consensus last night

AS a coach you try different methods of motivation. ED is using all of his tricks Some kids need love, some need a kick in the butt. Love has not worked so far, maybe he is trying to see if anger works. ED hates to lose. He is not going to quit. It is especially difficult when every player is not comfortable in the role they must play. Hopefully Christmas break will be a relaxing, bonding time while our players and coach get healthy. WE all must remember the big picture.

..add to it some of these kids have been hearing it for 4 years and this was the year cooley figured he could finally take his foot off the gas and let the seniors run crap...he learned that wasn't gonna work and now he's back to being a dick...AND our senior group doesn't exactly appear to be workaholics based on the lack of improvement in individual games and extracurricular activities.
