$100,000...that is real $...Creighton what were you thinking? Interesting that Bowen was offered incentives from Louisville and Creighton that we know of. Ironically, DePaul was also a finalist.

i believe LSU has a commitment from a Bmore combo guard. probably 3/4 star/top 150 range. Not sure if we ever looked but may be worth a sniff although probably doesn't solve immediate problems...

NCAA head coaches during the Recruiting Scandal. The FBI screwed up. They should have wiretapped the assistants and sneaker execs to get at the head coaches. If Sean Miller is doing nine months, the crap comes to an end.

Beyond this case of extortion, Avenatti's "body of work" swirls around the edge of the sewer.
That said, there's been a smoking gun for the past year or two and we all suspected that Adidas wouldn't end up as the only sneaker company to be implicated - with their affiliated AAU programs, agents and college programs coming along for the ride. I would imagine that there are a number of Nike coaches running home to change drawers at lunchtime today, as Avenatti may have sufficient details to cause damage to a number of them.
I think most of us agree that Avenatti has no interest or intent in the restoring integrity in college basketball. Rather, he's an opportunist without scrupples who worships one thing...$$$

I can't imagine anyone who follows cbb would be surprised if Nike et al weren't bribery conduits to help corrupt the game. I guess idiots can call it "incentives" but they payoff schools, coaches and players to advance their interests and it's all public knowledge. Why wouldn't they also help their clients in obtaining human assets ...afterall if the client succeeds, they succeed.
