Larry Brown should impart some basketball wisdom to our fledgling Friars.

This is great for both young men - especially White to get a taste ( Edwards has previously had a run at an overseas trip).
Can only help our team...

Do you think Larry Brown will actually take time for individual instruction? Or will it be more in the direction of team coordination and play development? I have no idea, but I suspect that Edwards and White will benefit more from the unique style competition they will face rather than Larry Brown's input. I think he's more invested in short-term winning and long term development.
What do you think?
PS: A little trivia. Larry Brown played in 376 ABA games covering five teams in five seasons. His career 3pt shooting % was 23%. For you younger folks, the three point shot was born in the ABA.

Let's just hope Brown gets through the trip without leaving for another team. Odds are 50/50 IMHO.

As well as having close to 1500 victories as a head coach. I'm sure that he shot 23% will affect his teaching abilities. After all, didn't Allen Iverson called the "best the coach in the world"? Say what you will about Larry Brown's penchant for jumping job to job. No player or coach has ever questioned his ability to teach and coach the game of basketball. Having him coach our two young Friars can only help their long term development IMHO.
