We are what we are. It was far short of what was needed to advance. I have not gotten past the second half collapse. Potentially, could have beaten SMU.
Conflicts today caused me to miss the Nova game. I have no idea what transpired.
It's a good thing for the Big East that X. and Butler advanced. Save face after Nova's quick exit.
Though I think each year the committee will judge the Big East on its own merits for selection consideration.
However, Iit seems unlikely that the committee will select 7 out of 10 teams in the tournament in future years.

Probably would have had 5 teams if X and Creighton didn't lose PGs. That's a more realistic number going forward.

draif, good point. Providence caught some of these teams when "down".

7 out of 10 is a historical accomplishment.
Of course it should not be expected to be the norm.
Enjoy it for what it was. PC has made the Big Dance four years in a row. That has never happened before. And almost no one thought that would happen this year. This team was picked #9 in the BE going into the season. There were not many disagreeing with that assessment.I happened to be one who did.Just a reminder.
Very pleased that Butler and Xavier are in the sweet 16.Let's See who joins them.

The BE has kicked ass in the nonconf for three years....bids are going to take a hit the year that doesn't happen...
Nova missed some FTs...

Wild Tournament thus far. The pundits were suggesting that this year's version would be wide open. I seem to recall one person suggesting that as many as 15 Teams had realistic chances of winning it all

Pulling for the Shockers now. They are playing UK well deep into the first half.

Shockers are not afraid of the moment...trading punches with UK heading into the final minute. Really impressed with WSU's rebounding, defense, outside shooting under pressure - and "onions"
Damn. Spoil averted .

Apparently Marshall's wife was pretty tuned up at the game.
