This team had a terrific season and, even though they took it on the chin vs the defending national champs last night, they got terrific exposure. The staff is well respected in the high school/prep school lax scene and, coupled with wonderful facilities and full funding, this program is on the rise! Within the next 24 months, we will be reading of national rankings and impressive upset wins. This is the next great sport at PC and will soon be one of the most popular sports among students on campus.
To sound like a broken record, it remains a shame that there is not a varsity women's team and the school continues to miss out on one-half of the fastest growing sports in the nation.

Agree on Women's team. Unfortunately I don't see it happening after they wasted big money on new softball facilities. Good luck challenging SEC, ACC, Big 10 and PAC 12 schools for Top 25 rankings in that sport.

Most recent rankings of note, Draif: 1 - Denver (Big East) 2 - Brown (Ivy) 4 - Albany (America East) 6 - Yale (Ivy) 8 - Loyola (Patriot League) 11 - Towson 15 - Stony Brook(Colonial Athletic Assoc.) 16 - Villanova (Big East) 19 - Marquette (Big East) 20 - Bryant (NEC) EDIT: B1G Conference has four teams in the Top-20 (I forgot Johns Hopkins). Big East has three and the ACC has four. Others receiving votes include Army, St. Joseph's and Quinnipiac. A national ranking at PC can happen. www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-men/d1

Conn, sorry for confusion. I meant good luck to PC trying to crack the Top 25 in softball. I just don't see it ever happening.
It would be a very realistic goal for PC Women's Lax to crack the Top 25.
That is why I said they wasted money on softball facilities.
