Western Kentucky has former Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury coming aboard and they probably need guards as three of their own got in some sort of trouble this past year and Ray Harper their coach resigned as soon as the news broke. He had not been renewed past June 2016, but still...

Blindsided? IDK...maybe but I doubt it The Chooch and Josh ...now that's blindsided
A friend said to me today that without Ben, our roster looks TW-esque
What a morose thought as I ponder it more. And the guy is not even close to being one of The Miserables
in FriarTown. I wonder how season tix sales will go if Ben screws?

The key may be that Cooley had kind words to say about Quadree at the time of his transfer, while Junior's announcement is up at friars.com. (Nothing on Tyree yet). I don't have time to look, but I betcha no such kind words or announcement were made for Chooch and Josh. If Cooley turns a deaf ear to those who elected to attend alternative schools (think Kaleb Joseph), I would think it would we worse for a blind-sided transfer.

kind words = coach decision
lack of - players decision
TW roster - that would agree with Rock's rankings in a different post

C'mon, we know why he left...
Dex, you seem to have a grudge against Cooley for some reason...Not sure how any friar fan could...

This is Cooley's quote from the release on Chambers:
“We appreciate Tyree’s efforts over the last two years,” Providence Head Coach Ed Cooley said. “He has been an excellent teammate and a first-class individual during his time at Providence. We wish him all the best athletically and academically with his future plans.”

It sort of does, yes. I don't mean this as a personal insult, but if Lindsey had progressed like we hope an ESPN Top 100 will we'd be in much better shape. On the bright side, we have another Top 100 on the way in Diallo and Dickens should be Top 150, which is solid when it comes to big guys. I've always felt that if we land one ESPN Top 100 per year we'll be okay. Some will be misses but more often than not they will develop into solid players (edit: as long as they don't Chooch, Brew or Brown us).

Coach has been culling the herd. You don't have any kind of success unless you rid yourself of non- performers. Sorry to put it that way. I think coach is aiming high and I like the moves,

BTW, we are now seeing the kind, but necessary roster reshuffling which many (according to my fading memory) called for while we were in our February dry spell.
