Best advise I ever heard a coach give a player is "go play" Clear your mind go out and just play. Kris has been great his entire life. Whatever happens, happens. Shoot when you think you should. Pass when you should pass. follow your instincts. If we win we win. If we lose we lose. It is not all on Kris. Nor should it be.

If we are looking at Wright's building job at Villanova as a blueprint, we better hope the recruiting picks up back to the levels of the Bentil/Lindsey/Chukwu class. Wright has consistently brought in Top 100 kids every year from the very beginning. Our last Top 100 is Bentil. Also need to figure out how to avoid losing the Chukwu/Fortune types to transfer. I believe Jay has been able to keep most of his kids (do believe he lost a grad transfer last year). It's easy to question recruiting rankings, but difficult to question Jay's track record, which is built on recruiting and signing Top 100 kids. Absolutely.

Wanted to add a few things about Jay Wright. He has recruited well. But,he did not make the Big Dance until Fraser,Foye,Ray and Sumpter were Juniors,Nardi and Sheridan were Sophs and Lowry was a Frosh. Since then he has been consistently good, with only one bad season.

Again '71.....the bar was much higher out of the BE during those days.... I am not disagreeing with that. What the BE was in its glory days may never be matched. That should not demean what Cooley has done at PC ,with less talent ,on the national scene, however.Remember how bad things were here with Keno.

I remember...but in this BE you can retool with two good players.....couldn't do that back then. That's why it took Jay longer...And we are lucky this year, This might be the worst year of college basketball in years. You can call it parity but if there was ever a year to climb the polls, this is the year.
