Did it cost us the game? Thoughts?
Pretty bad decision, in my opinion, considering the minutes he played.

No. We lost more because Ben could not move laterally on defense or jump at all. No way Reynolds goes off if Ben was healthy

Yeah, probably right. Though not sure we start off down 10.
I'll chalk it up to another Cooley decision in the past month that I disagree with. More lately than I remember in the past.

One could definitely argue that not starting Ben allowed Reynolds to get off to the great start and build his confidence.
If Ed was going to play him more than 20 or so minutes anyway, why not start him and keep a close eye on him. That bad start did end up losing us the game.

Two things that drive me nuts about Ed are his stinginess with calling timeouts and being overly cautious with GTDs like Bentil today. He hoped to keep it close and use him sparingly. Instead we got blown out early so he was forced to play him a ton anyway. Just play him.

I agree 100% with pc88 regarding Ben...Reynolds is a junior he is aveaging 2 pts and 17 mins before today
Not starting Ben draif? You get it...an example of cooley being too cute by half
dumb..especially in light of how bad we have started off in 4 of our 5 home losses
you start him, not bring him in after 2:08 I believe it was...if you think he's a detriment, you sit him and fight again another day
he really has to disabuse himself of the notion that he's at the throttle of a top 10 team
How many Airballs today friarman? BTW I was informed today by our dutiful Airball statbeast the friarman that a shot off the side or top of the backboard is considered as an Airball in his boxscore...btw Sonar spoke of that one by Jalen and Zeke not getting enough shots and KC not making a single basket...in fact I would recommend that you folks listen to the post-game comments by Sonar....getting candid about this offense
substituting Albert for Zeke over and over again is bewildering to our section of astute fans

I recall 2 air balls by Dunn.
If side of the backboard counts, Lindsey had one of those.
