Nice. Smith will always be one of my all-time favorite Friars. He played possessed.
A few thoughts watching the game for a couple of moments:
- Still amazes me that we had 5 future NBA players on our front line (Smith, Simpkins, Williams, Croshere, and Troy Brown who had a cup of coffee in the league)!; - A couple of JUCOs (Williams and Abdullah) were in many respects, the missing pieces that helped to propel the seniors to a level that had been expected of them from the start; - Friars were rock'in what will always be my favorite uniforms; - Tim Higgins and Jim Burr. Enough said.

Great job Craig.Loved it. I loved the way that "the Animal" played and have wondered why he has not gotten as much love as a Friar great as I believe he should have.He led the BE in rebounding three years in a row---at a time when that League was loaded !!!He was MVP of PC's first BET Title. He played in the NBA for almost a decade.

I think the lack of response on Mr.Smith on this thread makes my point.Surprising to me how little love he gets from Friar fans considering his blue collar style, great rebounding and his being MVP of PC's first BE Title.
