In case anyone missed it:
Tim Brando and Bob Wenzel were showering P.C., Dunn and Henton with love all over the place at the end of the Xavier game.
Brando called P.C. "The Real Deal".
We shall soon see.

Just watched Butler win by around 10 over Belmont
Butler stunk ...stop Dunham and Rosy whatever Jones and they are eunuchs
hard to watch
ps along with Depaul these guys need a real coach...our commish has to make that clear
our way or the highway for them and depaul
schools are begging to get into this league so we should have no patience for BS from any school
and I demand 30 million practice facilities for both or they can SCREW in the immortal words of WTM97 formerly a great Mod

Upset of the Day:
Juggernaut Stonybrook (which the friars beat by 16) just upended #13 Washington at home 62-57.
Oh, the humanity!

Xavier beats FGC today. I was pleasantly surprised because they never did show the offensive juggernaut we have read about....they could not crush a bum club this day. Perhaps it was indifference in advance of conference play. Whatever...gotta keep Kris Dunn on the floor to win games...that's the constant the rest of the way FGCU isn't that bad. They are a veteran team that has a few high D1 transfers. I think this game showed us what X is. Also I agree with you about Butler. They are one dimensional and you shut down a couple of guys and they are incapable of winning. For some reason they seem to lack real depth and talent. It's almost like they aren't recruiting anyone.

I liked their 2 freshmen and they share the ball better than just abut anyone I have seen. They don't defend enough but Woods and Wideman are starting to become much better in the interior. The coach they got from Gardner Webb is doing a pretty darn good job. He should just get the job permanently. Regardless, we will struggle with Butler. They are a better version of BC. Lots of guys that can make shots and a very solid tandem of guards.

Butler hasn't passed the eye test for me yet.

Yeah, Butler didn't have their best game yesterday, but it's all relative.
The "eye test" for P.C. playing Notre Dame is way different than P.C. playing Brown or B.C.
I just watched the highlights of last years double overtime win against Marquette...WOW!!!!!
The Big East is here and teams really bring their "A" games!

Only 6 teams with a higher RPI than us have a higher SOS this year so far. Cooley and staff did a bang up job this year.
