In either poll this week. Thoughts? I'm mildly surprised, but until we beat someone on the road, understandable.

Perception of PC is still really bad nationally due to the past decade. I think voters really punished Creighton for their loss to us.

i'm a little surprised...basically means 2 Ws this week and we're still not close at 17-5....wonder if not having espn behind the BE has an impact...

I think we are better than Stephen F. Austin and American University. Don't know anything about them, but just a guess.

If they win 2 more on the road this week I suspect they'd be ranked. I know many of us thought they'd get a vote or two today, but still....In the end alot depends on who is ahead in the rankings and votes and whether they win or lose...Bottom line is they are in a good spot but a huge test is coming up, I think @ Marquette is going to be a tall order, especially since Marquette just lost and they don't often lose at home. I'd take a split in next 2 road games with a home win over SJU. At this point the ranking is cool but I just want to get to the damn NCAA. 21+ should do it, but 22+ on selection day should make us a lock I think. Still need to win some road games, 7 of 11 on road, 3 of last 4 to end reg season! I also think the BET is wide open this year, so there is always that route. Then again we should focus on winning a game there first.

Guessing among the (370?) Di programs that there are lots of good teams out there right now with similar records to PC...new BE still being 'tested' by some. We are getting the proverbial wink and nod right now but still - and do understand 1-2 votes among "others receiving" would be very nice right about now.
We keep winning; recognition will come - if not then no point is speculating about votes/rankings, yet.

I think we are better than Stephen F. Austin and American University. Don't know anything about them, but just a guess. Stephen F. Austin is 18-2 so I give them credit. But American is 8-0 in the Patriot BUT 12-7 overall, implying a 4-7 OOC performance. You mean they got votes and we didn't?

Not going to cry about this yet.I would not be celebrating because we got a vote or two in a poll at this stage either.Crack the top 25----a different story.But--not there yet.
Sure that Coach will use this as additional motivational tool.Let people continue to think we ain't that great---and then let's continue to win.

not a chance in hell wins over depaul and marquette get us from 0 votes to the top 25...NONE...give me a split...
AU - received a single top 25 vote from Feinstein....he can write golf books but he's an arrogant ass and is just trying to hook up the local team....eff him....
i'd much rather see us moving up the projected brackets than receive top 25 votes....
