Given that he hasn't been released by Appalachin State, wouldn't our offer of a scholarship be considered tampering?

He has to sit a full year without a release....I would still offer him even if that is the case.

You cannot split years on a scholarship – so if Austin had it in the fall – you can’t give it to anyone else on the Spring – essentially it is a “Dead” scholarship until the end of the year…..this came directly from one who knows.....all you can add for the remainder of this season is a walk on.

Given that he hasn't been released by Appalachin State, wouldn't our offer of a scholarship be considered tampering?...was that the case with houston and Joe Young?...didn't he enroll on scholly and sit without a release?...

Yes, but he has pay his way for the rest of this season.....but, speaking specifically of Graham, he still needs the release to walk-on.

if he doesn't get a release he sits his first year of college, no way around it (unless he gets waiver ala Joe Young)
