We're going back in time on this Austin thing again. No one really is going to know the exact circumstances of the incident, the first ruling of the board (No one has ever said definitively that they were suspended for the year or actually expelled, which means the appellate decision either reduced the preliminary finding or kept it the same) or the degree of culpability of either player. When you hear some of the wild stories that supposedly happened or actually happened, then you hear versions that are not nearly as egregious, there's no way of knowing for sure. What seemed like a good idea at night turned out to be a not so good idea in the morning. We can take turns lining up the culprits that ultimately caused what once was a promising NCAA potential team to turn into a shell of itself(Austin, Bullock, Fr. Shanley, the Board members, the victim, the appellate board members) and direct our frustrations and disappointment at each and everyone of them and we're still not going to get any answers. If you're in the same category of fan that I am, that being the fan who has kissed this season good by, we have to put it behind us, get back on the recruiting trail and unfortunately again for us, wait til next year. By the way, dont rule Louisville out as a potential landing spot if he doesn't come back.

I will probably have it on in the background as I read a book. Unless it's airing as the same time as the Simpsons and Family Guy. If this is the case, I will read about the loss on this board tomorrow morning.

How the game goes tonight is really secondary to you wearing your PC garb and facing the dumb looks are free questions from your NOVAN buds that will be inevitable...You can always take a cue from Nancy Reagan, when she was famously caught on camera/microphone prompting her failing husband to answer a few befuddling queries from the press...
She intoned, "Tell them we are working on it.".
*
Sadly how we do on the court going forward has suddenly become a footnote to all the doom and gloom distraction right out there with the Brandon Austin departure announcement. And this is a hard and fast reality not a perception of truth...
Despite this mess, I am proud of the kids who will take the court and wish nothing but an improbable W; for them more than us as we are beyond pathetically down right now.

I've always found it amusing that Nancy Regan was well known for being the Queen of the Bleep Job www.villagevoice.com/1998-02-10/news/paying-lip-service/

The inanity of your collective core contributions to the discussion prompted my perspicacious commentary. Enjoy the Simpsons bronc... So, let me get this straight. You and others can post your game viewing plans. But, I cannot? As the Walk says, "it must be a core thingy."

The miserables are back out of the dungeon.
None of us are really happy right now. However, some seem to revel when times are at their worst.
