On the plus side this was like ripping the Band-Aid off. We lost to Seton Hall at home and unlike last year, we are not getting a Council or Dunn back.
If any hopes for the NCAA Tournament were left, they are now gone.

There was and there is NO HOPE for The Dance
What we have to worry about is an implosion and no post season at all
On the plus side, Cooley seemed very much engaged today...hope he somehow gets through the next 2 1/2 months

Hard to get excited abut this group when we all expected Dunn, Ledo and Austin to be playing.

That was the last thread of hope. Band-Aid is now officially ripped off for everyone. Do you really care whether or not we make the NIT?

The Friars were lucky to get to OT. They were bailed out by the refs on the 2 non calls at the end of the game. This is one of dumbest teams I've watched in a long time. Batts and Harris are 2 really dumb players.
When do the "wait until next year when Dunn and Austin are back" posts start up? My personal favorite is "wait until the class of 2021 recruits is ready". Cooley and the boys are really strong with that class, we should be in good shape with that class. UCONN and Ollie are already sh$tting bricks about the Bogeyman getting his hooks into that class. They're afraid to play us in 2025. Can't wait to read those posts.

Perhaps they are all valid excuses, but after a while it's hard to take seriously.

No question in my mind that the Friars got the benefit of the whistle today...and Willard was terrible.

Refs and Willard did everything for a Friar win and we still couldn't capitalize. Tourney hopes rested on a full compliment of players. But as usual, same s€¥#, different year.
I firmly believe Cooley is our last hope for getting back to respectability but it ain't happening this year.

SHU gift wrapped that game 3x to us after blowing it in the 2nd half and we still couldn't win. Seton Hall looked like a bad team to me.

I was going to say Thank You but I see you broke another pledge already....actually I did not comment on the game...it's all good... Look at our offensive numbers against a nonconf SOS that is outside the top 200 and includes games against 2 teams inside the top 15.... We have maybe two players who can get off their own shots...
