I had my heart set on Alexis or Lahkin, but Essandoko has an extremely high upside and we can hide his defensively issues with the drop coverage Can't we still get Alexis and/or a shooter? (Hop, Fernandez, Pierre, Floyd, Barron, Eli, Bonke, Mela, Oswin, Joseph, Essandoko ... adds up to 11) PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!! Only if Oswin doesn’t reclassify. Don’t think we could get Essandoko, Alexis, Oswin all mostly playing center. That money would be better served on perimeter scoring

Someone shared this highlight package in the other hood. Shoots the 3 beautifully. The passing, blocks and bullying his way around under the hoop. Didn't even show a dunk until 3/4 thru.
Woah!

Yes there are two spots and I was saying (don’t remember which thread) I think we will get a perimeter scorer and a 3/4 who can shoot Bonke is in a weird spot. Kim went very hard after starting centers and Oswin. That’s a lot of mins right there. Plus he’s played so little organized basketball. I’m very excited to see him out there, I love the gigantic centers, but I’ll be very patient and keep expectations low

I'm guessing that Bonke came here understanding that he'd be a "project", given his limited experience playing organized ball. A full year of practice and development should help to prepare him to gain minutes at a HM level.
For now, I'm thinking that Essandoko and Oswin (assuming he re-classes) would share minutes at the 5 next season. At this point, I'd imagine that Christ may lack the conditioning needed to play much more than 20-30 minutes in Kim's system. As for Oswin, he's demonstrated a willingness to split minutes (20-each) with Ben Ahmed at PSA, which platooned 10 talented players in/out of games this past season. My guess is that Oswin's team-oriented mentality will carry over to PC, so his sharing time with Christ won't be of concern (so long as Christ and he have equal-impact on the outcomes of games).

I can't help but notice that there's a lot of power forward type game packed into Essandoko's 7-foot frame.

Essandoko is way too slow for the 4, but you could play Oswin with him if you wanted to go big. Think the best look is still probably Hop at the 4 and one of the bigs at the 5

Bring him in and hope he progresses at a faster rate working against Bonke, Christ and Alexis, than Slim did. 6'7 220lbs 6'9 230lbs 7'0 285lbs Dudes

No way we can play 2 centers and a PF together. Alexis is out, I’d be stunned otherwise
