If Cal leaves Kentucky, some quality players could be up for grabs.
Of course, the bigger question is who replaces Cal? I think Kentucky will make a run at Danny Hurley but I wonder if that's a fit. Brad Stephens, Billy D., and Nate Oats will almost surely be on the short list.

Cal leaving UK kind of answers the KE extension after 1 season. While KE wasn't going to be considered at UK, whomever UK hires, KE could have been considered for the school losing their HC to UK. I actually believe Ed C gets some consideration if Hurley, Oats, Billy D refuse

It’s been reported that Scott Drew has declined an offer from Kentucky.
Next up…. Pitino? Billy D?

By the way, I spent a weekend in Lexington last year and even went to the Tennessee-Kentucky game in Rupp Arena...before the visit, I figured I wouldn't like it there.
Surprisingly, the campus and city were nicer than I had envisioned and the people we met before, during, and after the game were politely passionate.
I was impressed.

And its.....Mark. Pope. From BYU Hahahahahahhahaa. How the mighty have fallen. DMAC!!! Obviously you were not impressed with what he's accomplished at BYU, YOUR NOT PAYING ATTENTION. He is exactly what that program needs, he's not high maintenance! Research him before you continue. He's an outstanding coach who has a terrific style of play at both ends of the floor that all would care to play and fans would like to observe. Also, he knows what it takes, he's been there. Terrific hire.
