We were more than doubled-up on the score so I will omit it. Let's just admit that this was another step on the learning curve for us. Turnovers killed us last night. We had 28 of them against just 4 assists. Interestingly, we outrebounded them 45-38 with Liv Olsen leading the way with 13. Brynn Farrell was our high scorer with 12-pts but also had 5-turnovers. Grace Efosa played for the first time since game 5 and it showed with only 3-12 shooting and 6 turnovers. Freshman Sophi Hall did record her best game in her young Friar career with 5-pts, 3-rebs, 1-ast and most importantly, zero turnovers (but she only played 8-min).
It doesn't get any easier as we next hop on a flight to Omaha, NE where we take on #22 Creighton on Sunday.
On a side note, I wonder if Kylee Sheppard can redshirt despite playing 6-games. This would be ideal on many fronts, one being that our team is loaded with Juniors, but only one Soph. (Kammie Ludwig) and she's been hurt the whoke season just like last year.
