Interestingly, the Friar's own Maria Morales is currently running at 7% regarding for MVP at the FIBA U20. This is a totally unofficial fan support poll, nevertheless very interesting. I checked various players who are there and noticed many of them are 18 years old. One wonders if a PC coach tagged along for the trip to Vilnius as well as it might prove worthwhile. BTW, they have completed competition within Groups A, B, C and D, and are now starting the Quarterfinals towards the FIBA championships. Spain will be playing Israel. www.fiba.basketball/europe/u20women/2023/news/who-will-be-crowned-fibau20europe-mvp-in-lithuaniaial

If Marta were to average 8.3ppg for the Friars this year I'd be thrilled. But I don't see that happening. Would love to be wrong however.
