Need a Big or two for this coming year. Hope current and new players are ready to work hard. They may be in for a good shock. FYI: I check for roster movement every day. So far, all (9) returnees are still intact as well as the (4) recruits. That seems odd to me since lack of movement almost assures another 13-19 type season. Plus you would think Erin Batth has some "in's" she'd like to activate. I guess I'll have to patiently wait.

friars.com/news/2023/4/12/womens-basketball-molly-reagan-joins-womens-basketball-staff-as-associate-director-of-player-development.aspxErin Batth:"I'm so happy that Molly [Reagan] will be joining us in Friartown," Batth said. "I love her energy and enthusiasm and she is a joy to be around. She has coached at multiple levels and is coming from a high-academic institution [Carnegie Mellon], where she has learned from one of the best in the business in Head Coach Jacquie Hullah. I have the utmost confidence in Molly's ability to help our student-athletes thrive and develop in all areas of their lives and she brings a solid foundation of experience with her in skill development, recruiting, scheduling, workouts, community service and video."

YankeeFriar mentioned the website hoop-explorer in the men's recruiting forum. So I went there and plugged in our last year's girls team for efficiency results and here's how it looks. Although Janai's graduation is certainly a loss, the hope is that improvement from Grace, Kylee, Brynn, Olivia's (or other's) improvement will make up for her loss. If true, then our improvement as a team would come from our four recruits and two transfers. Kammie Ludwig should up her game substantially as well since she was hurt almost all of last season and barely saw the floor at all. My goal would be a .500 season in Coach Batth's first season.
Any thoughts?

In a posting that almost made me spit up my coffee, WBB Blog added this morning to their school's "Ins and Outs" that PC's top three returnees, Grace Efosa, Kylee Shepard and Olivia Olsen now show under the OUT label, but each with the added note "Returning to Providence." Not 100% sure, but it sure sounds as if all three were at the door heading elsewhere, but Coach Batth did a Kim English and convinced they to stay.
It will be tough winning in the BE in the coming year as it is, but without those three, the season would have been a total train wreck.
