or 6pm on a weeknight next home game: SJU 6pm start on 25th. Think St. John's is 6:30. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!! I was going by what I heard after the game yesterday. 6 or 6:30, times still stink. although I will take that over those 9pm games

Just saw a pic of the crowd at Indiana for the Michigan game. Not sure what the attendance figure is but entire top section was empty. That's a flagship, state school in the Big 10 with a large student body. Huge state support. Big basketball state. Tough to complain about our attendance when you see that.

EDIT 12/21/16: added in the final OOC numbers.Big Ed has been pleading with the fans of late to come out. The numbers are noticeably down in OOC thus far, with URI being a notable exception. I'll update this occasionally as the season rolls along. Please forgive the crude excel cut and paste hack job. I grabbed some of these from screens from old threads I posted. Also should note the Butler game in 13-14 and Depaul game in 14-15 were severely impacted by major snow events. cmon dmac, give us the updates. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

The Friar Faithful have awoken, just checked Ticketmaster and huge swaths of seats that were blue dots yesterday are now gone. Much of the upper deck all around was unsold this weekend.......Now this sucker looks like it might be a sellout. About 100 left on TM.
I'm doing my part sitting with the Kore and bringing a friend.

I take it back. Ticketmaster must have their own supply of seats separate from whoever manages the friars.com ticketing. Tons of seats available on friars.com seat map. Tons.

It's on TV...nobody will go. When we are back on top of the Big East the games will be at appropriate times for the fans and their kids.
In the meanwhile, we better play 40 minutes tonight because Depaul does.
Might want to review breaking the press today also

Yes Mr Dex, I have come to accept the 6:30 tip, which is awful for its own reasons is probably better for the attendance than the 8:30 tip. Prediction for tonight, having seen the sea of blue seats avail, is 9,101.

No surprise that Villanova has been our #1 draw over the past 4 years on average, but Marquette @ #2 is a bit surprising to me. Although, we have had some great home games with them over the past 4 years.

Seems like FOX likes the 6:30 slot for east coast weekday games. As has been stated, that's difficult for a ticket holder base that spans RI, MA and CT. I had seasons when I lived in Boston proper. I’d just make the 7 PM tips, and that was rushing out of work. Don’t think I’d have been able to swing the 6:30 starts.

I abhor 8:30 and 9:00 pm starts as well as Noon on Saturday
Everything else works for me draif but I see your point on 6:30
as far as the ooc goes, people will find a way to almost any time if the game is against a real good opponent
that certainly did not happen this year... probably good bec we stunk early
let's see what next year brings

Although, we have had some great home games with them over the past 4 years. Also the wildcard of when these games occur -early or late in the schedule, early or late on a weeknight or early (noon) or later (4pm) on a weekend.....The prime time is obviously 4pm on Sat. Also Parents weekend is a guarenteed sellout every year. Then throw in the blizzards (check out Butler and Depaul from 13/14 and 14/15)....

4pm is the optimal time for sure.
