didn't realize so many of his assists were on made threes. did he help our guys get open with dribble drive or was he the benefit of some luck?

Luck??? Peeps I thought you were at the game? I know with Dex yacking in your ear the entire time it's tough to see any of the game.. I would say KC has good basketball instincts as a PG and his dribble penetration and overall solid ball movement led to our guys getting open..
....gotta love friartown...

Hey, KC made his first three, Bentil made a layup, Lindsey made a two and Chukwu made a handful of foul shots. Were the planets aligned??? Great day for the frosh.

Cartwright is a very nice complement to Kris Dunn...Cartwright will continue to grow in terms of shooting and scoring. He might just be the freshman playing with the least amount of trepidation right now. He just goes out and plays the game.
It great to see Cartwright work in sync with Dunn when they are on the floor together and then transition into the floor general when Dunn goes to the bench. Cartwright is far from a finished product, but he is the point guard this team needed and kept searching for throughout the spring.
Very good vision. He has and will continue to make mistakes, but he does not let anything get him down. It also helps that he knows he is going to play, but the fact that he plays with that fearlessness is great.
I'm sure other fans have said this - or at least thought it - but I would kind of like to see this team with Fortune. Just for the heck of it. But I can also say I would love Bryce Cotton back or Bullock not getting hurt... players leave/graduate/injuries... But then I wonder if Fortune here limits Lindsey's minutes or takes away from the overall development for the young guys...
Just a thought...but I like where this team is going, the development is evident. It's still a long season and this team is still finding its identity. But that's what teams do for the first two months. I am excited as the Friars gear up with two tough tests before Big East play.
This team will look so different come March.

..if bullock is as advertised and fortune on the roster, Lindsey would be a redshirt candidate....crazy as that sounds....
All remaining games have equal importance....need 13 more by march 14th....

Rpi forecast has us finishing 16-15 with an rip of 84....I'll stick with a magic number of 21 selection Sunday... So if we're able to win these last two OOC, 10-8 and 1 @ BET punches ticket? Is our RPI where it is strictly because of Brown loss? Seems disappointing to me. How is Seton Halls RPI 17?

SHU won today...they have one loss and a SOS of 83 before today and we have 3 losses and a SOS of 124
we not only would be advised to win the next two games but we better be improved by month's end when this crazy league starts conference play.
methinks a bunch of teams not named Nova are gonna have problems winning on the road this year

Yep...that's the formula...hope to god it doesn't come back to brown....if we go 9-9 the BET is going to depend on who we get round 2...believe we were in the 20s before ky and would be right there with wins at bc and brown.....we're where we deserve to be right now...
SHU has played teams whose expected rpis are going to drop....but current rpis are ok....
Correct dex....it doesn't matter if we don't improve a ton (IMO on the boards)....SHU...Xavier....creighton...sju....all appear to be better than expected....and butler....

I like cartwright and I don't think it was luck, but it wasn't a great opponent. He'll be really good here some day I think, and he is getting more comfortable out there.
Would be huge if we can win the next two. Need to if we wanna be feel good going into conference play.
