OK Johnny...I relent on Iron Mike Riordan
4friars...Benny is a stretch but love your Jimmy Stone
Jacka...best fast break I ever saw...textbook execution
Jacka....speak up more often, those remembrances are priceless
Remember Jimmy Stone Shot FTs to the right side of the FT circle AND with an over-the-head jump shot which was his normal shot
wonder whatever happened to him...one of my favorites for sure

Thanks Dex, I hadn't heard anything about Jimmy Stone for decades but I recall reading/hearing some years back (5-10) he did surface. Wish I could add more details but memory is not my forte. As you reminded me, vaguely remember the foul shots now. His jump shot was unique in that he brought the ball so far back, like a sling shot. It could not be blocked. His jumping style was different also perhaps due to leg issue. Recall him running to the corner for a shot and he would be going up in the air and sideways at the same time and then releasing the shot. To me that’s what made him so unique and enjoyable to watch.

Another name from the past, Marques Bragg. Slow developer but contributed his junior and senior years. Then played in the NBA for a year.
