1 thing tonight provided, more proof we need shooters. A terrible shooting team takes 24 3’s, and loses.
That should have been an opt out. Instead no one will say Carter didn’t play, but everyone will say the Friars were complaining, then they lost to the 11th place ACC team at home.

I think not using Castro more was not a good decision. Haven't seen final box score, but I'm confident his over/under in terms of team scoring was over. He made some very positive plays and some bad ones, but he was a good foil for Post and BC's post D on PC.

Gaines had a rough end to the season, maybe since he had that meeting with his head and the hardwood.
That’s not meant to take away from his significant contributions this season. … Odoru was such an important player and leader as a Friar. Best wishes and luck to him and his young family

He’s all arms and legs and then it’s blow byes and being out of position. When you suit up 7 scholarship guys, and 2 are Santaro and Slim, their aren’t a lot of options.

Gaines was quietly an outstanding defender. He shot well sometimes...from the baseline three. He was good for a few boards or more as well as an assist and a steal. It was best if he didn't dribble.

Let him get blown by a couple more times with those fouls and a couple blocks too.

I would be very surprised if Dual is back next season. Say it ain't so. Info, please tell me what you like about him. He was Bynum dribbling at the top of the key, without the occasional three point baskets. His defense sometimes was non existent. I had high hopes for him, but as the season wore on, he seemed to regress.

Ticket played his azz off for us. He was all in on being a Friar and put into a spot he wasn't brought here for once Hopkins went down. I have nothing but appreciation for Tickets effort this year.
Too early to give up on Dual. Needs work? Absolutely. How many freshmen come to PC not needing work?? We needed JP, Floyd, Oduro, Ticket to carry the team tonight. JP and Josh did their part. Needed to take advantage of BC's 7 foot stiff on the bench and we didn't.
Will be interesting off season. ....gotta love friartown...

Instead no one will say Carter didn’t play, but everyone will say the Friars were complaining, then they lost to the 11th place ACC team at home. In addition to needing shooters we need a coach that can effectively teach shooting and how to finish at the rim. HC could also use some mentoring regarding end of half and end of game strategy. Dribbling mindlessly to wind the clock down and then repeatedly either making a turnover or taking a desperate shot is not working.
