The Friar Family Collective is officially endorsed by Providence College to assist student-athletes in monetizing and profiting from their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). This is a chance for Friar fans from around the world to support their favorite student-athletes while receiving exclusive access and benefits. The Friar Family Collective was created with the goal of supporting student-athletes at Providence College by facilitating legal and compliant NIL opportunities as well as helping those athletes prepare for the future. In the wake of the recommitments from Hopkins and Carter, there have been plenty of comments reflecting the importance of NIL.
Nap mentioned the importance of the Collective more than once, and there’s now an announcement that donations will be matched by anonymous benefactors up to $250,000.
I know a number of posters here (including myself) have recently made a first time pledge and I’d encourage others to do the same. It really does make a difference. No amount is too small.
By way of a responding post, who else here has made either a one time or recurring pledge?

Every little bit helps.
If you are in the financial position to do so and care about PC hoops [and I am sure that those who post here regularly do, each in his/her own way] , please support the Collective and PC Hoops itself.

I'm in with a regular monthly contribution. I attend few if any games during the year living up in NH, this is in place of buying tickets. Wish I could do both.

No doubt about the fact that the college sport landscape has taken a turn where NIL $$$ is vital to the sustained success of Programs. Like it or not, the future success of own Friar programs is heavily reliant on the Collective's ability to raise NIL funds.

Fortunately, the ability to raise NIL funding is NOT directly correlated to the size of each schools enrollment. If it were, we'd be in deep do-do.

At the risk of stating the obvious, Steve Nap has been increasingly vocal about the importance of the Friar Family Collective in helping to ensure that KE can recruit and retain the players that we all want to have at PC.
The last-minute de-commit from Daquan Davis was likely the result of another program waving a bag of $$$ in front of his face. This is the new landscape of college athletics. In order to sustain the winning ways of the past decade, everyone needs to consider doing their part to support NIL. No amount is too small.
