Not yet eligible in NY...of course I see ads every minute encouraging folks to get vaccinated ...but our governor is distracted with other matters

Just got my 2nd Pfizer today. Wasn't sure if I imagined it or not the first time around, but I felt a bit sleepy afterwards, and it happened again today. But not a big deal, especially for a retiree.

I was also tired with a slight headache and a slight body ache after Moderna #2.

Got my 2nd shot(moderna) this morning and feel no ill effects 9 hours later. Hopefully won’t have any issues. Talk to my Mom today and she told she is finally going to have a service to bury my stepdad on April 16. He was cremated and she has been waiting for a time where she can have all the immediate family members and close friends. Because of the restrictions she couldn’t until now. Since I’m fully vaccinated, I may surprise her and make the trip out to attend the ceremony. My stepdad meant a lot to me and I would really like to be there if possible.

Indiana announced this week that starting next Wednesday everyone 16 and over is eligible for the vaccine. Also, any out of state college student will be eligible for the vaccine in Indiana. Still a statewide mask mandate in place but talk is that will be lifted soon. Getting back to normal here slowly but surely.
