Title says it all. My favorite part of the night was when Cooley was smiling in the first half while PC was bricking free throws and getting embarrassed and blown out on their home court. What a joke. Show some pride and effort. You’re the coach, act like you care. All year long, including tonight, Cooley has said “I gotta do a better job.” It must be nice to have a job where you can constantly say that without having to back it up. We should all be that lucky.

Bad talent.
Somewhere at sometime, Ed thought Jackson, White, Edwards, MAL, Young and Monroe were Big East level players. That's a lot of misses on a current roster of 12, including a guy hoping for a medical redshirt.

I was being sarcastic.
Dayton and the second USC game were there for the taking.

I agree Walk...Cooley blew it on the trail big time. I have hope for Reeves, Duke, Nichols and Watson. But there are no certainties given their play to date. After year two, I like Watson as an offensive guy, but his defense is so bad, he hurts us more than he helps.

As frustrating as the current situation is, it’s tough to criticize PC for taking any of the Top 100 players.

also tough to criticize a coach that hasn't missed a postseason tourney since his first year...yeah, the no wins in the NCAAS is bad...but seeing as we only have won a game in the NCAAs 3 times in 40 years kind of tells me we shouldn't be using that metric all that seriously...

I think Ed needs to hit at about a 70-75% hit rate on the recruiting trail.. As history shows, PC's of the NCAA bball world can't afford too many swings and misses. I guess the frustrating part for me is that since Ed took over, I felt like we had a set program and direction going forward. This year appeared to be so unorganized with no direction.
Too many non-positional players, just a bad mix of talent.
....gotta love friartown...

Went back to read all 5 or 6 of your posts. All negative, only posting after something disappointing. You, my dear js, qualify for the role of a troll. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

hang in there js, the ccThumpman made a similar comment about one of my initial posts that had the balls to question keno davis after we gave up 50 in a half at GW and questioned the talent of russ permenter and kyle wright....

I must admit that I was wrong and you were right about Permenter, Wright and Keno. There. You happy? But I don't think your perfect in all of your observations/calculations/prognostications both on this Board or in your life. We all make mistakes... Like verbally attacking our athletic director at the GW men's room. Not a cool move and certainly not becoming of you. Fact is we both have made an attempt to be nicer to each other and I,for one, think that's working. But coming to the defense of someone who only posts negatively with 5-6 total posts hurts your credibity. I don't know who this troll is and whether he is the reincarnation of a former poster. But backing him by taking shots at me misfires. Hope you understand my frustration with js. PIZZA, SODA, GRINDERS!!!

"attacking our AD"....on my kids -
BD - "some half..."
Walk - "there is no chance this defense works when we get to the BE"....
BD - "what do you know...you don't know anything about basketball...."
....and I depart...
you don't need to police the board. JS has an opinion which has some merit for 2018-19.

There's going to be a chit storm around here, if we see the same brand of basketball next year, with largely the same guys.
