Instead of wringing my hands over today's loss, I've elected to shift gears and move on.
Will this team be headed to the NIT or did we just play our last game of the season?

The NIT Committee finalizes their invitations after the NCAA Selection Committee's work is done. So, Sunday evening would appear to be about right. Assuming we get invited for the moment, the Dunk appears to be available (if we were to get a home game) until the P-Bruins play next Friday (3/22).
How many Friar fans would be interested in attending a home, NIT game would be the next question.

i assume we'd be invited although several 1 seeds in smaller conferences lost conf tourneys and they're guaranteed a spot...

So, I see we were a 5th seed going into today. How far can we fall after losing to a ranked team? Dunno. But I do suspect that they don't give major conference teams 7th or 8th seeds. So we better not slip too far or we get nothing. BTW, 5th~8th seeds start off on the road, correct? How many Friar fans would be interested in attending a home, NIT game would be the next question. Me for one, if I can make the scheduling work.

There's a few teams in front of the Friars just from the BE alone. Not confident they get an invite.

The fact that the NIT bids won't be announced until 8:30pm on Sunday allows for some here to focus their attention (if it wasn't already) to the next 2 (and perhaps 3) games at Schneider Arena beginning tomorrow night.

Yep, it's about the Skating Friars now! I'll be at Schneider hopefully for 2 straight wins....but BC out of their misery early....

didn't we split DePaul?
Gtown, Creighton, Xavier most likely get in over us.
