I am more inclined to give Ed a break on the X's and O's side, rather than the actual lineups and substitution patterns he elects to go with , or the two poor back to back recruiting classes.

While I’m hopeful for next season, and recognizing that this season has been challenging, I personally appreciate that all players are getting an opportunity. I plan to post more detailed thoughts later.

yank, he certainly drew up a great play for the Jax three off the inbounds pass and back with two on the clock.
Seems that plays out of time outs are generally successful.

Dad, I agree. That's why I said that I would give him a break there. The play he drew up to get Duke the open look at the end of regulation after he called timeout when Butler tied it, was also a good one.

Flip side is maybe if rotations had been ironed out earlier we win the UMass and Georgetown games that we had in the bag and we are 18-11 with 2 conference games left.

We have 20 wins without the mindless lineup and rotation decisions....Wichita St. UMASS, G'Town and Seton Hall 2.0

Two years from now we will be happy how this team was coached this year. We shall see.

Great play? Is this a joke? The shot went in. I guarantee butler was fine with jax taking a 25 footer.

The diallo elbow jumper was a good play...jax was a prayer Yes the shot went in and may have been a prayer but at least they got a shot. With only 2 seconds on the shot clock there were not many options for them....so yes it was a good play and one that was successful under the circumstances.

The diallo elbow jumper was a good play...jax was a prayer The fact that Jax' 3 came out of a huddle has me thinking that he executed on a play that was designed for him. If any shot was a prayer, it would be Kalif's 3-pointer as the shot clock wound down to 0

Got a shot off with nobody near him after he inbounded. Perhaps one could question who was designated to take the shot...but probably a difference without a distinction given our perimeter game.
But way way way more importantly.
I just did a forensic study of the tape of the game basically frame by frame...well not quite.
I watched that bonehead foul by David and I watched Cooley and I watched David as he sheepishly walked to grab some pine after being yanked. That kid did nothing, absolutely nothing disrespectful to our great Coach.
Now I'm not gonna get worked up bec I have a hockey game against BU that will work me up enough.
However....tomorrow I may re-visit the attempted assassination of a teenage kid that occurred here yesterday.
All I can say is BRAVO to those gents who stood for truth, justice and the American way and told the truth of what they observed. I am so proud of most of you nitwits who refused to join the mob mentality to screw the kid. How about that block of the dunk try ....what a great play...best Defensive play of the year maybe.
Meanwhile my friend Maliek left Fowler for some unknown reason to hit a wide open 3 ball BEFORE he then proceeded to leave Baldwin to go back to that corner for again some unknown reason and gave Baldwin a straight up 3 from the top of the key to tie. Some of the things we do is just inexplicable.
OK at ease boys...light'em if you got'em but above all play nice

If we could only hit open shots at a decent rate...
- Defenses would no longer pack it in the paint, opening up the lanes for dribble penetration and fewer contested layups - Nate would not find himself double and even triple teamed as much - More Assists would be credited to one or two of or backcourt players - We'd be able to try a little full court pressure and maybe force a few turnovers - We'd have a few more wins and more fully appreciate how good our defense has been at times
