Don't agree with either of these posts even as Jax having an awful day. MAL with 2 threes in last few possessions.
friars are playing Marquette who have superior players.
I am not commenting on Kmac's first half tweet)

Okay coaches and sport writers... How do Friars keep up the defensive play unless they rotate in players?
Isn't MAL just out of a boot and isn't Reeves recovering from a broken foot and notaciably limping last game..
33 points and 18 rebounds by Hausers says Gus Johnson... Assassins.

In addition, on multiple occasions our beloved Friars double teamed players leaving a Hauser bro or a Howard wife open. Guess where the ball ended up? Lastly, did you see MU double and triple team Nate knowing he was never going to look for an open shooter? Even when it was Reeves standing open at the 3 pt line. Marquette has superior coaches. Their two losses are to a St John’s team we destroyed twice. We lost this game by missing about 1000 shots inside the paint to a team without a rim protector.

Was Reeves foot broken?
In any event, he’s been back 9 games now I think.

Pump the brakes a bit on Marquette has superior coaches. They had largely the same team last year plus a prolific scorer in Rowsey, missed the big dance, and finished 7th in the league. They have made the tourney just once under Wojo and got blown out in a 7-10 game.
There is plenty to criticize Ed for this year, but don’t be a prisoner of the moment, I would most definitely take him over Wojo if given the choice. His rotations this year have often been suspect, but he’s also desperately looking for someone to make a shot and on a few occasions, guys like White, Drew and MAL have knocked some down.

That was plural and a knock at our staff. If the rumors are even remotely true that Ed was jealous of the accolades that Sham got for developing talent then I'm concerned that he hasn't surrounded himself with a talented staff.

Draif, wow, check back when he's playing 30 minutes a game. You haven't noticed difference in Reeves play past injury? He ain't back completely yet. But the coach is clueless?
Mick, I watched same game as you. Friar's playing a superior Marquette team. At which point in the game did you believe the Friar's would overtake Marquette? Was it at the 31 -20 half. Was it the last possession of the first half when White was pounding the ball up and down to pass to Alpha whose 3 was blacked? Was it alpha's shooting in the first half? Was it anyone's shooting? So Friars got it down to 9 and you think Reeves, Duke, Watson gonna bring it home?
No lineup today was going to win the game for Friars. Focued on MH leaving Sacar, Joey, Sam, Morrow as double digit scorers, besides MH getting his as well..
I know Watson doesn't pass out when doubled. He did to Alpha once for a bucket. Would you rather see Alpha force another shot inside late in the clock? passing out to Reeves who was open could've worked or maybe the 2 for 7 first half 3 point attempts for the Friar's would've just continued. ( MAL had 2 threes in second half).
With this poor shooting team I am not sure what you, the sports writers expect. I have seen all but two game this season. This team is a low percentage scoring team, low free throw shooting team (missed a good number today but improving)
I am encouraged that Watson has really tried to carry some of the scoring burden on the strength of his post moves. He will learn to pass out to the open man.
This isn't the Iron Six team. This team wasn't winning today and didn't. No surprises to most. Talent wins out most often. Marquette had more talent than Friar's. Didn't matter who was on the floor for Friars. Cooley isn't intentionally trying to loose games. He has his own reasons for whom he plays. I only know what I see and read. I am awed by some of the plays the Friar's do make, the shots they do hit, the turnovers they do create. I am also aware of their limitations. About time some here accept who these Friars are and not who we may want them to be.
At this point an NIT bid is a push. I am looking for anything to build on for remainder of the season and yes, for next season. Improvevent anywhere welcomed.

Reeves is fine and back. Cooley said as much. Or are we no longer taking him at his word? Is he clueless or isn’t he?
Was his foot broken or not? You didn’t answer that one.
