Wish we went small earlier. Went with Young and down 11-2 out of the gate. Small is our best option by far. Young is out manned once the anthem is sung.
Would love to see +/- on Young in Big East play....can't be good.
Otherwise, props to team and Cooley. Great run.

" I don't grieve for the impossible."
Given what happened this year I'm always happy to put 5 healthy guys out on a neutral court (particularly MSG). Got two big wins. I'm pleased.

Lindsey 0-7 for the game, many were open looks. Played a lot of minutes and not many stats to show for it.

Jay Wright praises Providence: ‘You can’t score on them’
Danny Wild-USA TODAY Sports
Jay Wright knows firsthand just how tough Providence can be, and he pities the team that draws the Friars in the NCAA Tournament.
Wright’s Villanova Wildcats defeated Providence 76-66 in overtime on Saturday night to win the Big East Tournament. After the game, Wright praised Providence.
“All the credit to Providence and Ed Cooley. They’re so difficult to play against. They’re going to be a tough out in the NCAA Tournament because you can’t score on them,” Wright said in a postgame interview on FS1. “I just have so much respect for them, and our players do too.”
Indeed, Providence and Villanova split during conference play, so the Friars were one of the four teams to hand the Wildcats a loss this season. Providence also beat Xavier two out of three games, so they definitely have the potential to topple giants. They’re a team to watch out for in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Our Great Coach is so friggin smart...I bet he ripped his pants on purpose. He's getting national publicity from all sorts of folks.
His post-game schtick after the Xavier win also got rave reviews. Man we are blessed to have this man at the helm.

IDK what our Great Coach was saying but he's god and screw the redhead He was saying to the ref "tell that kid don't effing talk to me". Some people on Twitter saying it was about Bridges and not Donte. Upon looking again it might appear that Bridges is saying something to Cooley across the court.
