This team would have been a joke without Bullock this year. We are somehow dancing 5 years in a row now and this guy gets little to no respect for that accomplishment. How many Friars have scored over 1300 points and grabbed over 600 boards in 3 seasons? Not many. He has his flaws and can be frustrating as hell to watch, but he is asked to do a lot and has played out of position. Sometimes, even playing the 5. Good points gentlemen. I know that at times Rodney’s play can frustrate .He is not a dynamic leader type of guy. But,I do not know why some people get pleasure out of eating there own. But,he is a decent player who has done a lot of good things in three years. He has been asked to do a lot and has been a part of three NCAA teams. He scored the winning hoop for the Friars only Big Dance win in two decades. His block yesterday was huge. And he was part of the good rebounding efforts this year. He has played the five without complaint when asked to do so. Friars team would not be as successful as it has been without Bullock playing as he has.

If I can say anything to Bullock it would be "
Hey you got some big games left if you want to enhance your Friar Legacy.
I mean if he can find a way to have two great games tonight and tomorrow and come out of this with a BETC he will be remembered much different
people remember great runs and the players that led them for ever!!

Bullock outplayed Bluitt tonight. Most importantly,PC won the game against a top five club, coming back from 17 down.

I missed the part where Rodney guards Blueitt Who said they covered each other? Look at the stat line genius. Time to acknowledge who played better last night.

Hahaha. Just sticking to the title of the thread. Actually in the postgame, Willard or Marshall said Rodney made a great defensive move disrupting the last play by switching on Blueitt trailing the play resulting in X not getting a shot. Add the block at end of regulation and Rodney probably had the most important defensive stretch of his career.

71,
Try not to be so serious. I was at the game. Alpha did a great job locking up Blueitt and he came up really small for a top playing in a big game.
Rodney played very well but he is still a poor man to man defender.
He has come up big late in the last two games as a help defender.
He also lived up to Joe Hassett's quote that started this thread in the 1st half last night.

Rodney is Rodney but we love when he comes up BIG. We all know that he has been asked to do a lot on this squad and we thank them all for the thrills of the last two nights.
My only comment is that the guy who started this thread, to rub it in, be barred from Jack Dempsey's this afternoon and MSG...probably don't need security if his wifey puts down the hammer.
