Team shooting threes, twos, bunnies, free throws, finishing around the rim, 10% less than SHU. I find Alpha the most frustrating as he can grab the garbage points but misses so many shots inside. He may be the strongest player on the team and at 6' 7" he is on the verge of abusing the competition. Maybe one day soon everything will come together for him durinig the same game for him.
Walk, tell Lindsey "he sucks" to his face. Meet him at T. F Green Airport. Bring a change of undershorts.

Actually I said he sucked tonight...if he disagrees then I don't know what to tell you.
Alpha frustrates you but the top 100 senior who has 1 point in the last game and a half....and I believe zero points in the same amount of time against shu....is a leader? I'll take 5 alphas and beat your teams ass....

Your tough guy persona points to anything but an ability to whip up on anyone on or off the court.

But since that game, his shot has disappeared. Maybe he finds his shot at Alumni tomorrow. JAX looked lost tonight as well. .

Alpha misses some inside shots but he's also the only guy taking inside shots in traffic and from odd angles under the hoop.

He may have hit one three tonight. Thought he sat some along with KC with two fouls. As in the game I attended at the Prudential Center I thought SHU had him scouted well and denied him open shots. I do recall an open three from the top of the circle that hit back rim and came out long. On dvr I didn't notice any significant contributions from him during the game.
I did see that Rodney scored the first five points for the Friars, that the team free throw shooting was rough including Watson, KC, Alpha ( who I saw had a stat saying he had 7 points at the time). Thought MAL did fairly well as point guard with his baseline drive and one hand kick out pass for an open three. Thought White contributed as point guard and with his scoring especially that back cut to the basket and Alpha's pass from outside to White.
Thought Powell was destroying the Friars much as he did in the first contest. Thought Desi Rod was scoring until he sat with two fouls and then went down on the Dunk's disgraceful and dangerous playing surface. Thought Delgado schooled Watsson though Watson had one good move underneath on Delgado in the first half.
When KC returned as point guard he was immediately able to make passes for scores. Hard to win with him on the bench. Carrington? took it right to him driving to the basket knowing that KC could ill afford to pick up his third foul prior to the half.
22 to 9 run much like the 18/19 point run in the first game creates too large of a deficit to come from behind. With DesiRod out I think SHU went on a 12 to 9 margin in scoring.
With 13:03 remaining and to be picked up at noon the Friars will have to bring much more than they showed tonight to have a chance to win, including Lindsey, Alpha, Diallo, KC.

Alpha was the only bright spot in the first game. Took it upon himself to make something happen offensively. KC sat a lot that game, I'll?

Massive break for the Friars. If the shots don't fall in alumni, doubtful they start falling anywhere else this season.
