Light years behind Nova program right now... At what point does the rest of the league catch them...when Wright retires? or goes to the Pros.... Don't see that happening... Well our players scheduled to return next season shot a combined 10-34 tonight, so it might take some time, for us at least. Our seniors shot a respectable 46%, going 13 for 28

And get this, they are all back next year....well maybe not Brunson and possibly Bridges...but if no one decides to leave early everyone of them is back. 5 of their top 6 players are red shirts....Brunson being the only one who is not...

We hustled and played hard.
Ed has stepped up our recruiting over the past 7 years, but when you play a team like that you see just how big the gap still is.
Talented team.

I was wondering why they were still playing as well. Seems a little bush league. We did not have our walk-ons in.... There were starters and regular rotation subs. No problem with it. Very true. Good point

Just need to keep recruiting at a high level every year. No misses.. ....gotta love friartown...

Could give a crap that we lost this game...but Rodney can't handle the ball (covered previously) and Jalen sucks for a top 100 senior. ...

We aren't beating #1 with MAL and Edwards seeing minutes. Maybe Ed is trying to bring White along slowly. I thought the team played hard. Missed a lot of easy ones, especially when we had a few chances to push the lead to double digits. Cartwright was left on the bench too long. If we are going to pull an upset, you have to take the risk and play him with two fouls. Might as well, because we aren't winning if he's on the bench for 10+ minutes anyway. I thought Cooley's game management in the 1st half absolutely sucked; but, as mentioned, there may have been circumstances that we, as fans, are unaware of. That could explain White sitting after looking quite competent. That, however, doesn't excuse the decision to pull Cartwright. With KC coming out blazing and Nova starting rather enthusiastically, and that was the chance needed to pull the upset. Not only did benching Cartwright bring PC's offense (and any chance at building a big lead in the 1st Half) to a screeching halt, it potentially took him out of rhythm for the remainder of the game. Sure, I can't prove the latter; we just know that he looked completely out of sorts. The next time I see MAL and Edwards in the game together, it better be up 20 with 2 to go vs. Georgetown.

It turns out that Phil Booth broke his shooting hand in last night's game.
