because 1 out of 3 won't be bad!!!
Nova Hall Marq
Assuming we take care of business Saturday our RPI should be around 25-30. Losses to Nova and Hall won't drop it much. Mathematically speaking if we can take one out of those 3 road games our RPI should remain under 35.

Losing twice to the Golden Eagles would not help if we are bunched with them....PC's record at their place is beyond horrible...

Is it fair to say that Creighton is the surprise team in the conference this year?
They spanked us good out in Omaha.
My present thought is rather simple: If we can possibly beat Creighton, this thing gets interesting. It may not sound so positive but it's light-years ahead of my mindset before the Xavier win. The IF Saturday against the BlueJays is a big IF bec they are a well-rounded team.
Walk says the Bubble will be even weaker than last year yet he clings to 11 regular season wins to get in...I guess he's right if he means comfortably. I heard the crooked bastages at the Selection Committee take into account, to a certain extent, losses sustained when multiple players are injured and/or sick. Hopefully that helps explain umass and also marquette at the Dunk IF we take care of business as other's here have outlined. Let's find a way against those very very good BlueJays.

No but if we have 20 wins and an RPI under 35 it will be tough for committee to leave us out IMO. It's not like the eagles are a bad team. Plus the committee should take not having Bullock into consideration. But I get your point, if it comes down to the final couple spots with us and Marquette how can you give it to PC going 0-2 H2H.........we need a little help advertising/reminding the committee that weekend that we were without leading scorer/rebounder

We will have about 22 wins if our is 35 and will be a lock. 10Ws would've done it without the nonconf...plus didn't we have our bullets against minny and uri?

Rip forecast...a 1-1 bet and 11-9 would put us at 35. We'd be a lock.

The 10 team conference round robin and strong ooc showings conference wide once again pays RPI dividends. As long as this system is in place I’d slam the door right in UConns face. Let them rot and pretend an invite somewhere better than purgatory is coming.
